US Information Technologies offers a comprehensive offering of health and financial wellness benefits for employees and their family including medical, dental, life insurance, retirement plans, and professional development. Some benefits begin on the first day of employment! Benefits are generally available to all full-time (30+ hours/week) employees.
USIT offers a choice of two United Healthcare (UHC) medical plans for employees to choose from to best meet their and their family’s needs. Employees may choose from a traditional PPO plan or a high deductible health plan (HDHP), which can be coupled with a health savings account (HSA). Both plans cover 100% of the cost for preventative services at no cost to the participant, offer a broad pharmacy benefit including mail order prescriptions, and wellness incentives.
USIT provides United Concordia (UCCI) PPO dental coverage to employees and their dependents. This benefit covers 100% of the cost for preventative services and shares the cost with employees for most dental procedures. Orthodontia coverage is included in this plan for all covered members with no age restrictions.
Vision coverage is provided by National Vision Administrators (NVA) vision and the plan offers an extensive provider network through several national retail chains. The vision plan also a generous out-of-network benefit which allows participants to see any provider and still receive a generous reimbursement. The benefit pays for one eye exam per year after a $10 co-payment, the materials benefit pays for a portion of the cost for eyeglasses or contact lenses once a year and frames are covered once every two years.
Saving for retirement is important for everyone. That’s why USIT offers a retirement plan through Fidelity Investments with a generous company match. Both Roth 401k and traditional pre-tax contributions are available up the IRS maximum each year.
Full-time, regular employees begin accruing paid time off immediately upon hire. PTO accruals begin with a generous accrual of three (3) weeks and increase from there based upon years of service. Other types of paid leave are also available to cover personal emergencies.
USIT provides full-time regular employees with ten (10) paid holidays per calendar year.
After 6 months of service, employees may participate in the educational assistance program. USIT supports employees choosing to maintain or pursue job-related skillsets. To that end, certifications, undergraduate or graduate level coursework, or an educational/technology refresh, are reimbursable up to the IRS yearly maximum.
All USIT consultants are eligible to attend regular quarterly training in their area of specialization. USIT will support the travel required to get you the training you need if education centers are not available in your immediate location.
Financial security is very important, especially if others depend on you for support. USIT provides life insurance and a matching Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefit to all full-time employees equal to two times their base salary, up to a maximum benefit of $200,000 at no cost to the employee. This benefit is provided by The Standard.
These financial wellness benefits are available to full time employees. Employees have the option to purchase this voluntary coverage in addition to the standard life and AD&D insurance provided by USIT and a guaranteed issue is available upon hire.
USIT participates in both medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts. These accounts help employees lower their tax obligation by allowing employees to set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible medical or dependent care expenses.
Employees enrolled in the high deductible health plan are eligible to enroll into the HSA. HSA’s are owned by the employee and are funded with pre-tax payroll deductions.
USIT provides short and long-term disability benefits immediately upon hire. These company paid benefits pay employees if they are unable to work due to accident, injury, illness, or pregnancy.
