USIT was awarded a U.S. Department of the Treasury/ Bureau of Fiscal Services (BFS) 13 month, multi-million dollar contract to implement a shared data transfer capability solution for BFS’s Oracle Federal Financials R12 implementation. The solution will use the Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite to facilitate the interaction and communication between software applications.
The Bureau of the Fiscal Services (BFS) Administrative Resource Center (ARC) provides accounting services to a number of Federal Government agencies utilizing Oracle Federal Financials, R12. The footprint includes Oracle Federal Financials (GL, Purchasing, AP, AR, and Budget Execution), Manufacturing (Order Management, Warehouse, Inventory, Bill of Materials, Work in Process, Advanced Pricing, Cost, and Transportation Management), Oracle Projects, and Fixed Assets.
The implementation includes design and development of the Oracle SOA environment on an existing Oracle Federal Financials production instance and 6 additional development environments, and implementing 10-12 integrations. The implementation will focus on real-time transactional integration, monitoring, governance, message routing, and event processing. Our project team will also support installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and training of Fiscal Service employees on the SOA solution. USIT partnered with Oracle Corporation and will utilize Oracle Managed Cloud Services to host the application and database.
