Fort Belvoir, Va., September 20, 2019 - The DLA Foundation is a non-profit philanthropic organization whose members include Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) employees and retirees. By raising funds through events like the Annual Golf Outing, the DLA Foundation is dedicated to being a “force for good,” bestowing scholarships and other benefits on former and current DLA employees.
USIT has been a gold sponsor of the annual DLA Foundation Golf Outing since it began seven years ago. This year, USIT employees Dustin Burdge, Eric Vaughn, Roscoe Howard and John Fahy participated in the event. “We are proud to support this worthy cause for one of our most important customers” said Theron Johnson, USIT COO who attended the early morning opening ceremony and networking event, where DLA Director Lieutenant General Darrell Williams gave the keynote address. USIT has been providing technical services to the DLA since 2006.
