On December 4, GPO awarded USIT a contract extension with added funding to continue work at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) Library Services and Content Management (LSCM) division. USIT provide support services resolving issues identified as part of the original contract awarded in August including support for Oracle iStore, Order Management, Inventory, Customer Online and InstallBase, release 11.5.10 to support LSCM’s customer ordering, inventory management and distribution process. Technical infrastructure for the Oracle Applications resides within Oracle’s Cloud Services solution, Oracle On-Demand. The LSCM Division, as the agency’s only appropriated funded organization, is responsible for disseminating information products for all three branches of the Federal Government to over 1,200 libraries nationwide. USIT’s initial scope of work under the contract was to remediate a number of outstanding unresolved issues left behind by a previous contractor.
